Developer and contact
Trelist is an app by Jordi Antich Rivas. For support or privacy questions, contact the developer at antich.jordi@gmail.com.
What data does Trelist use?
Trelist uses the content you enter to get organised: list titles, tasks, notes, creation and due dates, completion status, item order, colours and icons. It also uses the name you set to identify your changes to participants in a shared list.
The app stores preferences such as favourites, list order, reminders and protected lists. This data enables the features you choose. You don’t need a separate Trelist account; syncing and sharing use your Apple Account and iCloud.
Storage and iCloud
Lists and items are stored on your device using Core Data. Trelist uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync personal and shared lists when iCloud is available and configured. The developer has no separate server to receive the contents of your lists.
Apple provides these services under its iCloud terms and its privacy policy.
Shared lists
When you share a list, authorised participants can access its content through iCloud. Depending on their permissions, they may view or edit its items. The name set to identify changes may be visible to other participants.
Only share content you want those people to access. You can manage sharing in the app. Removing access does not delete copies or screenshots a participant has already kept.
Notifications and reminders
With your permission, Trelist schedules reminders on your device. The app also uses Apple services to keep shared data up to date. You can manage reminders in the app and notification permissions in iOS settings. Task text may appear in notifications depending on your device’s preview settings.
Widgets
To show upcoming due dates, Trelist makes a copy of the necessary data available to its widget extension in the app’s shared storage on the device. Widgets can show task titles and dates on the home screen. Consider this content when choosing widgets and your device’s visibility settings.
iPhone calendar
If you use the Pro feature to add a due date to your calendar, an event may be created with the title, note, date and reminders you select. The app uses Apple’s calendar interface and permissions. It may request calendar access to view or remove linked events.
The destination calendar may sync the event with the service you have configured, such as iCloud or another account. You can manage permissions in iOS settings and events in Calendar.
Face ID
Trelist Pro’s private-list protection uses the system’s Face ID authentication. Trelist receives the result of the check and does not access your facial biometric data. Your selection of protected lists is stored locally; it does not change sharing permissions or replace the security of your Apple Account.
Trelist Pro purchase
Apple handles the Pro purchase through the App Store. Trelist checks and verifies transactions using StoreKit to activate or restore purchased features. The developer does not receive your payment card details. Trelist Pro is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
Advertising and tracking
Trelist includes no advertising or third-party analytics tools and does not track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.
Retention and deletion
Lists and tasks are retained so you can view and manage them. You can delete items and lists in the app. When syncing is enabled, deletions may propagate to iCloud and participants depending on permissions and connectivity.
Uninstalling the app does not guarantee deletion of iCloud data, backups or events you have added to your calendar. Manage this data through the relevant services. Purchase records retained by Apple are subject to its policies.
If you contact the developer
If you email us, we will use your email address and message to handle your enquiry. Do not include unnecessary data from your lists. We will retain the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet applicable obligations.
